realization...

holy cow!!! where has the time gone?? we just had our last practice of the year.. and of my high school "career" and it kind of hit me when i got home... so i just wanted to take the time to thank all of you that have made a difference in my life.. thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support, and help you have given me in all that i have done, and participated in. cheer is now over in three days and i graduate in three months! SOOO weird! we leave for hollywood california in the morning for nationals and at first i honestly could wait.. but now... i can't... i can't wait to spend my last weekend/cheer trip with all of my BEST FRIENDS.... the past three years have been one big roller coaster, that's for sure... but one roller coaster i will NEVER forget or regret.. i have learned more from my team(s) in the past three years than i have in my years of school and life..

desert hills high school students and very close friends of mine!! thank you for making my sophomore, junior, and senior year the most fun and exciting years of my life so far!! you are all a BLAST to be around and i wish you all the best!! THUNDER FAMILY FOREVER!!

thank you brian and melinda for the lessons and life skills you have taught me! thank you for what i feel as millions of dance classes and opportunities you have made available to me!

all of the seniors from the past two years.. thank you for being the best examples to me.. you taught me everything you knew without ever getting the slightest bit frustrated..

thank you to all the junior and sophomores this year for making this the easiest year of cheer and not making my senior year hard ha ha! you all are SO incredibly talented!! you all catch on so quickly and give everything your all! you are all the sweetest girls and will go so far in life!

thank you seniors... wow.. i don't even know what to say right now.. words can't explain how much i love our group of seniors.. we have all been there for each other through the ups and the downs and my senior year wouldn't have been what it has without a single one of you!! i love you with all my heart and there is no doubt in my mind that our group can change the world!! good luck to all of you!

to my coaches... cass and patty.. you two have been more than amazing coaches to me all three years.. watching you and learning from you has shown me more than just angles, stunts, and dance moves. it has shown me love, compassion, friendship determination, drive, hard work, never giving up and much more. i honestly can't thank you two enough. i'm sure days at practice haven't always been the best with me or there have been times you've been frustrated with me.. but i'm so thankful that you never gave up on me. i will always cherish the memories and lessons i have shared with both of you. thank you!

to my brother nick, and his beautiful wife kam.. thank you both for showing me what kind of people to be.. to always be who you are, and have so much fun in life! even though you couldn't make it to many games or cheer things i always knew you were there in heart cheering me on and i appreciate it all. i love you two!

and lastly to my parents... i don't even know where to start.. thank you for giving me the AMAZING life i have!! thank you for all the opportunities you have provided for me, and all the fun activities you have let me be apart of.. thank you for all of my dance classes, and being at every single performance! thank you for making it possible for me to be apart of dhhs cheer. you have never missed a game or competition and i know that i didn't say thank you every time but thank you for every single game, performance, and competition it means the world to me! mom.. dad.. i love you from the bottom of my heart and nothing will ever be different.. you both are heros in my eyes, and i'll always be your little girl!

i am sorry if i have forgotten to mention anyone but please know that i am soo thankful for ALL of you!! i am so thankful for the fun years and adventures i have had, and i can't wait for all the ones to come!! the biggest lesson i have learned is to: BE YOURSELF.. DON'T LET ANYONE CHANGE YOU, UNLESS IT IS YOU.. YOU ARE AMAZING.. DONT LET SOMEONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT.. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING.. GO GET IT.. WORK YOUR TAIL OFF AND DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO REACH IT.. AND LOVE.. NEVER HATE.. BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT PERSON IS GOING THROUGH BEHIND THE SCENES.. good luck to all of you in all that you do!!
