the energy of the day.

so i'm sitting in astronomy and i'm REALLY NOT in the mood to listen.... i woke up DEAD TO THE WORLD this morning. i DID NOT want to wake up... i probably could have slept all day long. why you ask? well... i'm sick.. i have a lovely cold. awesome right? i feel like my head is going to explode!!! everything around me is spinning, and all the talking sounds like it's inside my head. i hope i get better. BUT for some reason once i got up today i was super happy! despite not feeling good... it's a good day!

so i looked up my horoscope. it is quite interesting today! it states:

OVERVIEW: you can't help but engage with people today -- even those whom you ordinarily don't get along very well with. try to make folks feel comfortable before asking them for whatever you need from them.

then it talks about letting people know i'm here to talk and that i can help with whatever they need... 

i find this all very interesting and true for today. 

me and bre had to wake up and come to school earlier then usual so we could do our assignment for leadership. 

PEOPLE WATCHING!!!! 

bre and i LOVE people watching, and we knew exactly where we wanting to go. The Hall of Flags! greatest place for this hobby of ours! it's a LONG hallway at UVU with flags hanging from the ceiling and the silence is almost awkward. people walk up and down the hallway going to class, they study, and it's quite the place to get your chat on! quiet chat that is. one way i look at this hallway is like you have HUGE earphones on... it's silent all around you, but you can ear EVERYONE'S conversations! IF you listen for them! it's the greatest!

as we reach the hall i ran into Brian. my new found crush! guys!!! he's HOT!!! he looks just like paul walker! BUT he was sitting by the best friend (matt) of this boy (austin) that i use to like so i was expecting it to get awkward.... (me and austin don't talk much anymore) we sit anyway! and study the VARIETY of people who mosey their way through the long tunnel of silent sound! ten minutes into it... guess who walks up and sits down.. YEP! austin. the exchange of hi's were a bit on the awkward side, but that's okay! it got better! come to find out Brian knows Matt, so we all started talking... 

NOW back to my horoscope!! "EVEN THOSE WHOM YOU ORDINARILY DON'T GET ALONG VERY WELL WITH" what???!!!! crazy i know! things are going great today and me and austin were friendly! which i good!! 

(just to stop your wondering mind on why me and austin don't talk... it's nothing bad! don't worry! it's simply because our personalities just don't go together! we just don't mesh. no biggie) 

i'm feeling like it's going to continue to be a good day! my best friend (breann) has been very sick.. and i've been taking care of her.. it's been sooo sad! i cry for her! but she's going to the doctor today and i'm feeling like she's going to be just fine!! AND i ran into my crush! AND i was nice and okay to be around austin. AND i saw my long lost best friend shalli!! AND i'm just happy!!!
