monthly tribute! happy november!

November
Bre Rutledge
(aka beaner, long legs, brenan, one of my role models)
this is bre!
STUNNING.. i know!
and this is probably... well is what she loves most in the world!
her beautiful family!

to me bre is a role model, an example, a sister, a friend, a dancer, a singer, an artist, has an amazing eye for fashion, a stylist, loving, funny, smart, beautiful, intelligent, a "go getter", hard worker, a dreamer, a little brother lover, someone you can talk to, a writer, and much much more.
she has her own blog oh-pish-posh. and i'm pretty sure every time she posts something it's just what i needed to hear! bre describes her self as so:
(from her blog)

I am a blogger; a stylist; a reader; a writer; a 9-to-5er; an intern; a creator. I am a movie quote-r; an obsess-er; a sarcastic comment-er and a napper.
'I like sitting on the grass with a book open on my lap. I like how a pair of hands can fit together with another soexquisitely. I like how fragile anddelicate a face is when fast asleep. I like the gleam that shows up in a person's eyes when they smile. I like watching the complexion of nature. I like the flow of the piano. I like feeling the air drift in and out of my lungs and how music makes me melt. I like being by myself. I like the scent of rain and how the stars shine at night. I like the way I get lost in life. I like thinking. I like sleep. I like the simple things that keep me going.'

i met bre at diamond talent where we danced with each other for a few years. she was in my companies and i enjoyed every second of her! she became the sister i didn't have and someone who would look out for me! every day at dance we would tell each other about our days... which would seem weird to some, i'm sure, being that i'm a few years younger then her. but i don't think i had a better friend than her. after performances we would go to dinner with the companies and then have sleepovers at her house! probably way more than her parents wanted us to have but hey! it was fun! there are so many little things that she did for me that meant so much to me. like the time she let me borrow her big red earrings to wear to our christmas party for dance. (i had a crush on one of the boys at the time and wanted to look super cute so she hooked me up!) ha or when we would go hot tubbing at her house and i didn't have a swimming suit with me she'd let me wear one of her old ones! or when she asked me to be apart of her art project! she took me to her high school and had me pose for a picture that she was going to paint. or she would call me to go swimming and lay out at her house over the weekends! we'd make lunch and then hang out that night too! or when she would let me tell her my stupid problems with boys or mean girls at school, and she would actually listen and help me. it's the little things she did to include me or make me feel apart of her life when she was older and clearly didn't have to that made me so happy! those little things helped me grow up to be a better person and i don't think i have ever told her about that... or said thank for that matter... so i'm sorry it's late bre, but thank you! thank you for being a friend to me. for being a sister to me and helping me. thank you for being the BEAUTIFUL lady you are. thank you for being one heck of an example to me, and for being one of my role models. if i can become anything like you as i get older i will be more than happy!!

love you bre!
