Melissa Wilstead: as of late

what has been happening, and going to be happening for the holidays you ask?

HAPPENED:

* finals week came and went... i don't say this like it flew by either. the way i should be saying it is finals week came and almost killed me. but it's over now! WOOT! WOOT!

* old friends meeting new friends! my friend cole (a kid on the uv baseball team) is going to saint george for the weekend and asked for someone to hang out with, so i called my girl shalli up and got that taken care of!

* my roommates and i hosted an ugly sweater christmas party at our apartment, and it was a HIT! so many people came! it was a blast!

* me chels bre and ash went to happy sumo tonight! SO YUMMY! we had been craving it for quite some time! oh and we got pictures with santa!

* it's now christmas break and all the college kids are at home snug in bed, or by the fire with there families.... LUCKY DUCKS!! (prepare for a pity-party) i don't get to go home because we (the dance team) have to dance at three games in two days. saturday and monday. so all i'm gonna say is i feel bad for those who don't get to go home yet. monday night PLEASE come faster!

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS:

* although i just had a pity-party.... i can't really because my parents are coming up for the weekend to watch me dance! HALLELUJAH!!! i can't wait to see them!

* we have the CUTEST new roomie moving in after the break! her name is kaysie and she is a volleyball player at uv! I CAN'T WAIT! sweetest thing you'll ever meet!

* there are some very lovely people that i CANNOT WAIT to see when i get home! i've waited long enough!! give me my lovelies!! mads, shall, lex, mags! oh my goodness i am ecstatic about seeing them! there are more, yes! but i was just talking to these four so they are fresh on my mind!

also excited to see some other cute faces.... you know who you are!

* i think i'll be able to see dhhs play a few basketball games! can't wait, can't wait!

* i have MANY things to get done on my christmas list... i don't know why but it just does not seem like christmas time yet, and that is so sad to me! :(

we have sleep overs, girl talks, catching up on the drama, christmas cookies to be made, lights to be looked at, two temples to go to, to see the lights, christmas blow-up decorations to take pictures with, movies to be watched and so much more!

* good thing i'm in saint george until NEW YEARS!!! woo!

* i have some lovely plans for new years this year! woohoo!

(even have my outfit for the night picked out)

* we are having our team christmas party at my apartment on saturday morning! breakfast for all!

* my parents get here tomorrow night, and we are going to see the lights at temple square! i have never seen them before so i can hardly wait!

* buying the rents christmas presents tomorrow, hope they like em!

* i will also be cleaning my bedroom, packing to go home (yes i pack early) and wrapping my christmas presents to people tomorrow!
