october 26th.
friday night i got to watch one of my favorite boys play football. seems like just a regular friday night lights right? well is wasn't. it was the playoffs, and i felt sick all day about the outcome of the game.
(if they won they'd move on, if they lost they were done for the season.)
here's the twist. my old roommate money... jess... whatever i've called her. her little brother (kody's age) is the QB for Spanish Fork. Kody is the QB for Pine View. their stats pretty much mirror each others, and they are probably two of the best QB's in the state.
which adds a little more competition.
well...
they played against each other. and Spanish Fork won by a touchdown. both boys played so well. but i couldn't be more proud of my sweet little brother! even though i could more than tell he was hurting he held his head high. he came straight up to me after the game and gave me a huge hug. i can always count on that boy for those hugs! no matter the outcome of a game he always makes it known he cares that i'm there. this boy is a keeper. any girl would be so lucky to have him!
(sorry girls he's too young)
i honestly can't wait to watch him through the rest of his sophomore year, junior, senior, and years beyond high school. he is going big places and he is so ready for it. love you kods!
october 27th.
saturday i had practice at 7 in the morning. those practices are always so brutal. i would consider myself "a morning person", but not when it calls for full body function. after practice i rushed home, showered, and got ready for a volleyball game.
it was a great game, quick and easy. and the last one of the season too.
after the game i went to savers with chels to find her a halloween costume. she found a super cute dress that looked like pebbles from the Flintstones. we were stoked. after that i came home and got dresses for the day. yaya, zack, austin, and i went to a pumpkin patch just down the road. it was my first pumpkin patch since i was like two. I LOVED IT!!! even though i wasn't feeling that great, it was still a must, and will be for the rest of my life. my mom also sent me a bunch of pictures of the little boys and the activities they did yesterday.
miss these little ones so much! i can't wait to see them!
now the pumpkin patch.
it was a fun time to say the least.
my sweet little twins got all dressed up too! i miss them so much.
everyone is a pumpkin at one time!
after the patch we gathered together our costumes and went to noah's for a good ol' time.
waldo, pebbles, steelers football player, and two indians.
lowry and his friends came as the ninja turtles!
not gonna lie, it was one of the best costumes there.
and of course... WE FOUND WALDO!!!!!
what a great weekend!
...i got to see the people i love most.
...spend time with my amazing friends.
...and celebrate halloween.
can't wait for wednesday. HAPPY early HALLOWEEN!!
xoxo miss
