this is how we do it

so... just a quick recap of my week/weekend.
*monday and tuesday were pretty much the same as any other week.
*wednesday night was our prep night for the high school drill competition that we host at UVU.
*thursday night we had practice and a women's basketball game, but because i was not in the dance that they were to perform that night i ended up printing/copying all new programs for the comp.
*friday i had to "supervise" a high school team in the UCCU center while they practiced for the next day. we were thinking that they would show up around 7:30 A.M. so they could warm up and what not... show i got there at 7:15 A.M. to make sure everything was in order and they showed up at 8... cool. i returned home after a few hours of being at the school and then went back at 3:30. from 3:30 to 11:00 P.M. we ran the solo competition and set up for the next day in the UCCU center. that night i didn't get to bed until 2 A.M. (which i don't regret one bit)
*saturday i woke up at 4:30 A.M. to shower, curl my hair, put full makeup on (eyelashes and all) and got to the school by the expected time of 5:30 A.M. we finally finished the day at 8:00 P.M. i quickly drove home, showered off, got ready again (normal ready) and went on a date with christian. we ate at happy sumo with some of his lovely friends, then him and i drove around and looked at christmas lights. we ended up at his house and watched the movie "brave", but we fell asleep.
*sunday i slept in, said goodbye to my momma (she's came up and helped on saturday), got ready, and headed up to sundance for a lovely evening with my people! (oh and i got pulled over... but it didn't even ruin my day one bit) after we (other than me) froze in the snow (i was quite enjoying it really) we came home and i, YES ME, MELISSA ANNE TURNER... dip dyed my sweet lexington's hair navy blue...well purple, but it looks blue. after that adventure i took my peeps to look at lights (let's just get this straight... NO ONE up here has christmas lights up!! it's seriously the most saddest thing EVER) so we pretty much just drove around. yaya was freaking CRAZY!!!!! and we all just laughed at her. but all and all it was a great, BUSY, crazy week/weekend!

OH! AND....
I'M IN LOVE! I'M IN LOVE! AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!
with the snow that is...

HOW IT'S DONE FOLKS!

you need:

1. bleach
2. the color which you would like your hair to be
3. bowls, brushes, and foils
(we got two bowls and two brushes. one for bleach, one for color)
4. deep conditioner

the steps:

1. mix your bleach and color in the bowls
2. TEST ONE LITTLE SECTION FIRST
3. section off the hair
4. bleach first (where you want the color to be), rap in foil, heat and wait instructed time, then rinse and dry
5. color sections (where bleach had been), rap in foil, heat and wait instructed time, rinse and dry
6. deep condition your hair

i highly recommend the deep conditioning to your hair. just because of the bleach you have to use. we had lex shower and rinse/wash her hair, and then she left a deep conditioner in while she studied and washed it out after an hour.

TA-DA!!!!!

ENDING LOOKER....
